Beyond fighting wrinkles and skin sagging, evenness and radiance of the complexion have become a priority for many women (and men!)... And applying a specific treatment has thus become a new essential step in the beauty routine!
New to the Graine de Pastel range, Anti-Spot Correcting Serum perfectly meets these current expectations while preserving the brand’s historical commitments, namely to offer ultra-effective care that is healthy and adheres to strict ethical and ecological values.
Quickly adopted by many users, both loyal and new, it has nonetheless raised some questions: Does it work on all types of spots? Can it be used on the whole body? Or can it be applied before sun exposure? We answer all these questions here!

1 - Is the Anti-Spot Correcting Serum effective on all types of spots?
The answer is YES! Whatever their origin (sun, hormonal imbalances, scars, etc.), brown spots are always linked to an overproduction of melanin.
Rich in bioflavonoids derived from pastel leaves, the patented active ingredient ISACLAR contained in the Anti-Spot Correcting Serum has proven, during ex vivo tests conducted on skin implants,, its ability to significantly inhibit the enzyme that allows the skin to synthesize melanin, tyrosinase.
By acting directly at the source of hyperpigmentation, the Anti-Spot Correcting Serum effectively fights all brown spots, regardless of their type!
2 - Does the Anti-Spot Correcting Serum work on the rest of the body (neck, hands, etc.)?
The answer is still YES! The serum can be applied to the entire epidermis, including the face, neck, hands, and even the body.
Note, however, that since spots mainly appear on the areas most exposed to the sun, it is especially useful to apply it primarily on the face and hands.
3 - Does the Anti-Spot Correcting Serum prevent the appearance of new spots?
Indeed, by blocking the process of "melanin creation," the serum acts to prevent the appearance of new spots.
It is still important to specify that protecting yourself from the sun remains essential to avoid promoting the formation of new spots. For this, sunscreen is applied daily, after the Anti-Spot Correcting Serum and its day cream.
4 - Can the Graine de Pastel Anti-Spot Correcting Serum be applied before sun exposure?
The Anti-Spot Correcting Serum is not a photosensitizing treatment, meaning it does not make the skin more sensitive to the sun. Therefore, there is no contraindication to applying it before sun exposure… provided, once again, that you do not skip sunscreen!
5 - Can the Anti-Spot Correcting Serum replace a day cream?
This time, the answer is NO… Be careful not to confuse serum and day cream! A serum is a specific treatment designed to act on a particular issue: generally very concentrated in active ingredients, it can thus treat wrinkles, imperfections, dull complexion, or spots.
The purpose of a day cream, on the other hand, is to hydrate the skin and protect it from external aggressions, while a night cream will help it renew itself, as the night is conducive to cellular regeneration.
It is therefore recommended to always apply a day cream after your serum!
If, despite these explanations, you still have questions, please do not hesitate to submit them to us: we place great importance on your feedback to offer you treatments that always meet your expectations!
