DERMATOLOGICAL AND BIOLOGICAL LABORATORY

Our products are dermatologically tested, ensuring perfect skin and eye safety.

Our formulas are certified organic Cosmos, a label from COSMEBIO. Our factory and industrial services are audited annually by the independent organization ECOCERT.

We uphold the following principles:

  • using natural resources responsibly
  • employing clean manufacturing processes that respect human health and the environment.

VEGAN CARE 99% NATURAL ORIGIN

We do not conduct any animal testing (in accordance with European Regulation No. 1223/2009), and we do not use any animal-derived raw materials.

The natural origin of our ingredients is calculated according to the ISO 16128 standard. We have set our requirement for facial care products at over 99% ingredients of natural origin.

The remaining 1% consists of preservatives or materials necessary for the stability of the formula, and they comply with the COSMOS organic standard.

CLINICALLY PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS

Effectiveness is always our primary goal when formulating new skincare products. Each ingredient is selected for its effects on the epidermis. We then validate our formulas through clinical tests and evaluations by dermatologists and toxicologist doctors. Every claim, every "promise" is based on scientific truth. We do not claim "anti-spot" or "firmness" without justification.

4 PATENTS AND OVER 20 YEARS OF RESEARCH

Our Laboratory is unique. We possess unique expertise and knowledge of Isatis tinctoria—the Latin name for woad—which we have been studying since 2003. All our Research and Development efforts focus on mastering the plant molecules we identify in the different parts of the plant and testing their benefits in dermatology. This relentless work has enabled our scientific teams to file 4 patents over time.

PASTEL GROWN ON OUR FARM ESTATE

Our commitment to the pastel agricultural sector allows us perfect traceability. This requirement is reflected in the cultivation, which is carried out in certified organic AB agriculture. We practice regenerative agriculture that promotes biodiversity (shallow plowing, no inputs other than manure, beehives, hedges, etc.).

Our founder, Carole Garcia, wanted to acquire agricultural expertise and now cultivates 60 hectares of organic land in Gers, near the village of Lectoure. The Graine de pastel estate is a guarantee of origin and quality.

SHORT CIRCUIT MANUFACTURING IN TOULOUSE

It is obvious to us, as it is to you. All the direct contributors to the making of the care products you love are French, and almost all of them have a Southwest accent!

Our agricultural domain is in Gers, our cases and labels are made in Auch and Carcassonne, our production line is in Toulouse, and our plant extraction biotechnology partnerships are in Toulouse, Montpellier, and Paris.

This commitment results in a highly optimized carbon footprint, which we publish annually.

ASSEMBLY IN SOCIAL INTEGRATION INSTITUTE

For over 20 years, we have chosen a team with "that little extra" for the final assembly of our skincare products, packaging and boxing, labeling, making our kits, and more.

We are proud of this long-term partnership with the ASEI association, which provides part-time employment for about ten people.

SECURE PACKAGING IN GLASS AND ALUMINUM

The choice of safety is not neutral. Our containers are!

Our jars and tubes are made of glass and aluminum, food-grade materials that do not release harmful particles, unlike some plastics. This way, we limit a potential risk.

And it is very easy to throw your packaging into the recycling bin; they will be recycled. The Graine de Pastel Laboratory is a member of CITEO, a non-profit organization that funds sorting and recycling channels.

TRANSPARENCY ON ALL OUR INGREDIENTS

We select our active ingredients based on a strict sourcing criterion: France, then the European Union. Our formulas are transparent, and we explain them to you.

Our formulation charter is restrictive: regular scientific monitoring allows us to eliminate certain components considered risky and to respond quickly.

We are proud to be a family-owned, committed, and unique laboratory. Because our founder has always prioritized her commitment to the region and the quality of her cosmetic care over any financial considerations, we grow thanks to you, your loyalty, and your recommendations. We have never allocated a budget for advertising in the press, TV, radio, or billboards. We refuse commercial operations like Black Friday.
