We interviewed Laure, our dermocosmetic advisor at the Graine de Pastel pharmacy in Toulouse for more than 5 years: "Supporting and Advising Every Day"
At Laboratoire Graine de Pastel, the dermocosmetic advisor plays an essential role in our relationship with customers at the pharmacy. To better understand this crucial role, we interviewed Laure, who shares her experience and vision of the profession with us. If you are one of our loyal customers at the Toulouse pharmacy, she has surely advised you.
1. What are the main concerns of the customers you meet at the pharmacy?
Laure:
"The main concerns I hear about at the pharmacy often involve visible signs of aging: wrinkles, loss of firmness, and sometimes a dull complexion. There is also strong demand for solutions to pigmentation spots or redness. Customers are increasingly aware of the importance of using skincare suited to their skin type, as well as respecting the environment.
Like Sophie, a customer for more than 10 years who uses the product I recommended to her, the redensifying cream for greater firmness and skin comfort; it is ideal.
They want products that are effective, but also natural and ethical, which Graine de Pastel perfectly embodies. Naturalness and transparency have become priorities for many women."
2. What role does skin analysis play in your work?
Laure:
"Skin analysis is fundamental to my approach. Customers often arrive with preconceived ideas about their skin type or the care they need. That is where the analysis comes in: it allows us to examine the skin’s actual condition in detail and offer personalized solutions. For example, some people think they have dry skin when it is actually dehydrated. Thanks to tools such as skin analysis, I can recommend targeted products like our organic firming serum, which addresses several concerns at once, or for Annie, a customer for 20 years, who wanted a fresher, less tired-looking eye area and was won over by the eye contour cream!"
3. What would you like to say to all the women who come to see you?
Laure:
"I would tell them not to wait until visible signs appear before taking care of their skin. Prevention is just as important as correction. Above all, consistency in skincare makes a real difference. By choosing products suited to their skin and lifestyle, such as those from Graine de Pastel, they can restore a radiant, healthy complexion. Like Mathilde, who chose the organic peel, our resurfacing serum, she was delighted to see her skin become radiant and even-toned so quickly. Our commitment to ethical, respectful cosmetics, combined with the proven effectiveness of our active ingredients, makes it possible to care for yourself with complete peace of mind. Finally, I often remind people that it is essential to feel good in your own skin. Beauty begins with inner well-being."
Thank you, Laure!
